Farming 100 Chaos Orbs in a single day might sound crazy, but with the right setup and plan, it’s totally doable. I’ll walk you through exactly what I did, what worked best, and how you can do the same—even if you're not an expert player. This guide is all about real experience and practical tips, especially if you're looking to collect PoE 2 currency quickly and efficiently.
I focused on running Crimson Township and Toxic Sewer maps. These are small layouts, with easy-to-follow paths, which let you clear mobs super fast. I used Alch and Go (using Orb of Alchemy to make each map rare) and prioritized Pack Size and Magic Monster modifiers, which helped spawn more monsters—and more loot.
Before entering each map, I used Polished Ambush Scarabs and Polished Sulphite Scarabs. Ambush Scarabs added extra strongboxes, and those strongboxes sometimes gave me Chaos Orbs directly. Sulphite Scarabs helped me farm Sulphite, which I later used for Delve—a goldmine for PoE 2 currency. For Sextants, I targeted modifiers like "Maps contain additional Essences" or "Maps contain Mirror of Delirium," both boosting my overall currency drops.
Whenever a Delirium Mirror appeared in the map, I went all in. These mirrors boost monster density and drops significantly. Chaos Orbs, Fusing Orbs, and Scouring Orbs all came flooding in. If you can handle the chaos (no pun intended), always engage with Delirium Mirrors—they are one of the best sources of PoE 2 currency.
I used a strict loot filter to avoid wasting time picking up junk. I only looted high-value currency, influenced items, and cluster jewels. Then I sold them on the trade site for Chaos Orbs. A lot of my 100 Chaos didn’t drop directly—they came from selling things like Jeweller’s Orbs, Essences, and Unidentified Influence items that people always buy.
If I ever hit a dry spell, I didn't hesitate to buy PoE 2 currency like Chaos Orbs from other players to keep my momentum going. Sites like U4GM made that process smooth. Just one quick purchase got me back into action without wasting hours on bad RNG. This helped me keep my mapping and trading cycle flowing.
Always corrupt your maps for the chance of double loot.
Use Atlas Passive Trees to target mechanics like Harvest, Delirium, or Legion.
Join rotations or groups when farming high-tier maps or unique encounters.
By the end of the day, I had more than 100 Chaos Orbs in my stash, not counting the other PoE 2 currency I picked up along the way. If you're smart about what content to farm and use the tools around you, farming Chaos Orbs doesn’t have to be a grind—it can actually be a lot of fun.
