proper prayer

God of Heaven and Earth, we humbly come before you this day Oh, how we desire to pray properly and faithfully
Help us to focus on you with love and admiration in our hearts
Still our minds as we kneel before you in awe and reverence
We come with open minds and hearts so that words may have their power  
Guide us away from all distraction while drawing nigh unto thee
May your Holy Spirit fill us up even when words fail us
We pray eagerly these things knowing the joy of praying with thee.
