This was confirmed by his being selected to the hit reality show Dancing with the Stars. I think in reality TV or any competition, if you have a disagreement with the producers, that seals your fate quite early.Avery also noted on GMA that the dancing was two weeks of the hardest training hes ever done. Its a little funny that Avery was not happy about being displayed as a bad boy, as thats how he came to notoriety in the NHL. He also has never been one to bite his tongue, either.
