Ingredients:
-### Fried Chicken Recipe
#### Ingredients:
- 4 pieces of chicken (legs, thighs, or breasts)
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- Oil for frying (vegetable or peanut)
#### Instructions:
1. Marinate: In a bowl, soak the chicken pieces in buttermilk for at least 1 hour (or overnight in the fridge for best results).
2. Prepare Coating: In a separate bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
3. Coat Chicken: Remove chicken from buttermilk, letting excess drip off. Dredge each piece in the flour mixture until well coated.
4. Heat Oil: In a deep skillet or frying pan, heat about 1 inch of oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
5. Fry Chicken: Carefully add chicken pieces to the hot oil in batches, cooking for about 8-10 minutes per side or until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F/74°C).
6. Drain: Remove chicken from oil and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
7. Serve: Enjoy your crispy fried chicken hot!
