Some raids in Delta Force are worth slowing down for, and the Heart of Africa is the reason many players stop rushing past shelves, desks, and locked rooms. It's not just another shiny collectible. It can pay well, fill collection progress, and give a loot run that "one more match" feeling. Players who track market prices for Delta Force Items already know how much rare finds can change a session, but learning fixed ground spawns is still the cleaner way to get ahead without relying only on luck.
The Heart of Africa can show up in safes, bird nests, and Safe Supply tasks, but ground spawns work a bit differently. The spots don't move, so the race is usually about who gets there first and who checks properly. There are 31 known ground spawn points across the current Operations maps. That doesn't mean you'll see the item every time. You won't. Still, if you build routes around these places, you'll give yourself more real chances instead of wandering into random rooms and hoping for a miracle.
Zero Dam is simple to learn, though not always easy to survive. The three known Heart of Africa ground spawns sit inside the Manager's Office, which means you'll need the Eastwing Manager's Key Card. Once inside, check the floor, the desk area, and the shelves before you move on. Space City is more spread out and has nine possible ground spawns. Look through the Central Command Building, the Dormitory Key Card Room, Buoyancy Lab, Centrifuge, Black Chamber, Test Range Core Room, and CEO's Office. A nice trick here is that some rooms can be checked by sight before you burn a key card, so don't unlock everything on autopilot.
Brakkesh has strong loot value if you know where to look. The Heart of Africa can appear around Grand Ham, Blue River Hotel, the Museum, and several rooms inside Babel Tower. Babel Tower is popular for a reason. In a few places, you can peek through windows and decide if opening the room is worth it. Tide Prison adds nine more possible spawns, and it's a map where careful checking really pays off. Reception, the Warden's Collection Room, Warden's Office, Infirmary Section, Biological Sample Room, Cell Block, Showers, and Water Level Control are all worth putting into your route. Move fast, but don't get sloppy.
The best players don't just memorize names. They turn those names into habits. They bring the right cards, skip bad fights when the bag is already good, and leave when greed starts talking too loudly. Prices also shift, so it helps to watch what traders care about from week to week, whether that's rare collectibles or materials like Delta Force Tekniq Alloy used by players watching the wider economy. Learn the 31 spots, check them cleanly, and your Heart of Africa hunts will start feeling less like guessing and more like a plan.
