With Fires of the Past arriving on November 11, the last days of Season 1 are better spent making choices than stuffing another page of loot into storage. Plenty of what you own will become Contribution, so a bigger pile doesn't necessarily mean a better start. Before spending your Mistfall Hunter Gyldenblood Money, check which purchases or event steps will still matter after the reset. Your priorities are straightforward: claim Moonlight Nectar and the preview earring, reach a reasonable Path of Glory tier, and use gear or materials that would otherwise settle at a weak rate. Keep a decent PvE set ready while you work through it all. You'll still need to extract, and pulling apart your best setup too early can turn a quick event run into a frustrating evening. There's no need to chase every reward, either. Look at what your account actually needs, then give yourself time to claim it.
Finish the Preview Event First
The Season 2 preview event began with Developer Update 10 on October 21 and runs through the end of Season 1. Moonlight Nectar and the exclusive earring cosmetic are the prizes to put at the top of your list, since both appear on the retained list. Other event rewards held in your inventory may still become Contribution, so don't assume everything from the same track is treated equally. Plan enough extraction runs to finish before the night of November 10, and leave a little room for a bad match or a missed objective. If friends still need steps, group up and make each run count for everyone. Newer players can use those sessions to get comfortable with their class instead of worrying about a huge stash. Once you've earned the rewards, claim them in the event interface and check that the earring appears in your wardrobe. A screenshot of your retained currencies won't hurt, either.
Pick a Path of Glory Stopping Point
Your Season 2 starting tier takes your finishing Path of Glory position into account, but the highest positions are compressed. If you're somewhere in the middle, a few focused sessions could make a useful difference. If you're already near the top, another long climb might offer much less than you expect. Read the in-game reset page, pick a target, and check the details again after a major rank gain. That way you're not spending the last evening pushing for a reward that barely moves. If weekly limits apply, make progress during each remaining week rather than leaving it all for November 10. Between runs, look through your gear and decide what deserves a socket before settlement. You can also review Mistfall Hunter Items while sorting out what fits your build, but don't sacrifice the set you're relying on for preview extracts. Save the risky deep-map runs for another time if they aren't helping either goal.
Use Your Stash With a Plan
Start by selling junk and filling Combat Bag stacks up to the October 15 limits. Use rare camp materials on the five buildings that won't charge those materials again, and be careful with Soulcatch Tree spending that won't transfer. Soul Cocoon types convert too, so check whether their value can be put toward progress you'll keep. Clear or price Auction House listings to sell before settlement, and check Slumbering Contract contents so you know what remains. Don't start a long craft that finishes after November 11 unless its output is explicitly retained. The same goes for warehouse decorations bought just to fill space; upgraded storage still has value after its contents settle. On November 10, reread the in-game settlement columns, note what you sold or socketed, and confirm your three goals: preview rewards claimed, Path of Glory target reached, and bags filled. When Season 2 opens, consider buying Fateweaver loop tools before your first high-tier map, and keep your old build notes handy while you learn what has changed.
